Just south of Muleshoe, is the oldest wildlife refuge in Texas. The 5,809 acres of land is home to cranes, water fowl and many other animals.

The lake is located 65 miles southeast of Lubbock and is owned by the city. Garza County Sheriff's Deputies tell us the body was found around seven o'clock Monday evening. Police are investigating and NewsChannel 11 will bring you new information as it develops.
