Lubbock Investigators Find More Skeletal Remains

Lubbock investigators are piecing together more of the skeleton found near Buffalo Springs Lake.

Crime scene tape has been posted near the entrance of the lake in East Lubbock County since last Thursday. That's when a human skull was found on County Road 835. On Friday, additional remains were found. Tuesday, deputies found a hand to match the skeleton.

The Lubbock Medical Examiner is trying to put a name to the human remains. Investigators believe the body may have belonged to a man because of clothing found at the scene.

NewsChannel 11 has learned there are two reported missing men in Lubbock County, one who has been missing since 2000 and another who hasn't been seen since 1996. We're continuing to ask questions and will bring you the latest developments as they happen.
