Burn Ban Remains In Effect In Lubbock

A burn ban remains in effect for most of Texas, and that includes Lubbock County. During the ban, outdoor burning is not allowed. This includes trash fires or any open fires.

Sheriff's deputies are patrolling the county for violators. If you are caught, you will be ticketed with a Class C misdemeanor, and you'll face a $500 fine.
