Two wildfires are burning in South Texas. Forty acres of land caught fire in Bexar County just North of San Antonio, Thursday afternoon. Several fire departments are on the scene as the wind is hampering the battle. The fire is not threatening homes in the area at this time.
Smoke could be seen for miles around Rosharon, Texas, Thursday afternoon. That's about thirty miles South of Houston. Another fire scorched fields East of the Denton Airport, forty miles Northwest of Dallas.
No word yet on what caused these fires.
