Car vs. Fire Truck

A fire truck was on the way to a cotton fire Saturday when it was hit by a car. Police say the fire truck went through a red light, with its lights flashing, at Brownfield and West Loop 289 just before 2 p.m.

Twenty year-old Mila Billette slammed into the front side of the truck, pinning her in the car. Jaws of life was used to get Billette out of the vehicle. She was treated and released from University Medical Center.

Thirty-seven year-old firefighter, Ricky Murphy, was treated and released from Covenant Medical Center. Cars
