Former Lubbock County Employee Indicted

A former Lubbock County employee was indicted on a theft charge.

A Lubbock Grand Jury indicted 64-year-old Mike Mojica for theft by a public servant, on Tuesday. Authorities believe the former "road and bridge foreman" was taking county owned equipment, and using it to make money on the side.

County Commissioner Ysidro Gutierrez fired Mojica in November upon learning of the criminal investigation.
