Coach Dave Brown's birthday is on Monday. He would have turned 53...still a young man at that age because the staff at Texas Tech tells NewsChannel 11 was in better shape than some of the players.
"You went to his truck, he had a tennis raquet in his truck, he had a racquet ball racquet and glove in his truck, basketball shoes in his truck, golf clubs in his truck, whatever sport he needed to be called on, he was ready to do. So, he was in excellent shape...still, like he could play in the NFL right now," said Red Raider Assistant Head Coach, Ruffin McNeill.
