Gossypol is a natural toxin produced by the cotton plant to help reduce insect damage, and now a study by UK Researchers has found this cotton compound may also provide good treatment for psoriasis, because when it is applied directly to the skin, it has been shown to reduce inflammation and the production of the skin patches.
