Police Believe Suspect Robbed Two Stores

Lubbock police believe the same man might be responsible for two recent Nothin' Butt Smokes robberies. The suspect in both robberies is described as a tall thin man about six feet tall.

On Wednesdsay, a man held up the Nothin' Butt Smokes store in the 7400 block of 82nd street. Police say he opened a small cooler, pulled out a knife and demanded cash. Police say this may be the same man who robbed the Nothin' Butt Smokes store, at 34th and Elgin on December 12th, except in that case the suspect used a gun.

If you have any information that could help lead to a conviction in either case, you may be eligible for a cash reward. Please contact Crime Line at (806) 741-1000. Callers can remain anonymous.
