The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission caught several Lubbock bars selling alcohol to minors in an undercover sting operation Thursday night. Four establishments were targeted and two failed. The names of those businesses have not been released, since charges are pending.
Selling alcohol to a minor is a class A misdemeanor. It's punishable by up to one year in jail and a fine up to $4,000. After multiple offenses, businesses can lose their liquor license.
