The Lubbock County Medical Examiners Office began its examination of skeletal remains found in Kent County, Tuesday.
Kent County Sheriff's deputies found the remains inside an old well Friday. The well is located next to an abandoned house. Investigators believe the body was from a small framed person and has been inside the well for several years.
Kent County is located 100 miles southeast of Lubbock.
