Video Shows Aftermath Of Wreck Involving Lubbock Officer - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Video taken from inside the Lubbock Patrol car hit by a suspected drunk driver shows the commotion immediately after the wreck.

The impact knocked out the camera momentarily so we don't see the actual wreck. Officer Chris Hensley calls for EMS just seconds after his car is hit in the 5600 Block of I-27 just before 2:30 Sunday morning. Hensley pulled over a red Corvette for a traffic stop, and just minutes later his car was hit by a truck.

The video shows another officer coming to help Hensley who suffered injuries to his back and neck. He's since been treated and released. Officers at the scene gave the driver of the truck, Stephen Taff, a field sobriety test.

Taff was arrested and is now facing charges of driving while intoxicated, open container and no insurance.
