The drought and its effects on the South Plains will be the topic of a community forum Friday. An expert panel will discuss the impact the rain shortage may have on the city, the environment and the economy.

The public is invited to this free event. It starts at 10 o'clock Friday morning at the International Cultural Center at 601 Indiana.
