It is time again to get your teams ready for the annual Relay for Life. That's an important fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, which says this is a nationwide effort but the benefit is big right here at home.
"This helps our community greatly because money raised here stay here. Lots of it goes to Tech. We have researchers at Tech that the American Cancer Society is funding. So the money stays here," says Tori Welch Co-Chair for Relay for Life.
Dozens of teams will walk or run the track at Frenship High all night on April 21st competing to raise the most money through pledges and sponsorships.
