Driver Hits Light Pole At South Loop Intersection - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A run in with a lightpole sent one person to the hospital overnight.

It happened around 2:20 Friday morning, at the intersection of South Loop 289 and Indiana. Police say Nicholas DeLeon was going too fast and lost control while trying to make a turn. The car then ran into a light pole.

The 23-year-old was taken to Covenant with moderate injuries.
