Las Vegas Night for Ashlee Reese

You can have some Las Vegas type fun Saturday night while helping a New Deal High School student who just had a liver transplant. Ashley Reese is a junior at New Deal High School and just returned to the South Plains after a successful liver transplant last month. Las Vegas night is planned in her honor Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall on FM-1585. Tickets are $20, the money goes to Ashlee, but you get $1,000 in chips for some casino fun.

Sustained winds at 20-30 mph, warm temperatures and low relative humidity values will create an elevated to critical fire weather risk for our area. A cold front will move through our area late tonight, shifting winds out of the north. Monday morning will be cool and breezy.
