Jury Selection Begins In Diaz Murder Trial - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Jury selection is underway in the murder trial of a Lubbock man.

Ismael Diaz is accused of stabbing two people in the parking lot of a Lubbock restaurant in April of 2005.  Police say Diaz attacked 21-year-old Hector Villareal and 22-year-old Jason De La Rosa in the parking lot of the Copper Caboose restaurant at 56th and Avenue Q.

Villareal died from his injuries and De La Rosa suffered critical injuries.
