Right now, Lubbock Police Department dispatchers are working overtime and the department needs your help.

LPD is looking for qualified applicants to fill openings in its communications department.

"It takes a special person. You've got to be able to handle stress. You've got to be able to multi-task," Lubbock Police Dispatcher Melissa Orosco said.
