Dead Baby Found in Spur

Dickens County investigators are hoping the Lubbock Medical Examiner can explain how a newborn baby died. The baby died Friday in Spur, which is about 70 miles east of Lubbock.

Floyd County District Attorney Becky McPherson says investigators are awaiting autopsy and toxicology reports, before stating the cause of death.

The Texas Rangers, Spur Police and the Dickens County Sheriff are all working the case. So far, no arrests have been made.
