Armed Bank Robbers Still at Large

Lubbock police continue to search for the two men who robbed Plains Bell Federal Credit Union Thursday. Surveillance video captured images of the men holding up the bank. You can see one man is armed with a gun. They forced everyone on the ground and demanded money from tellers and the vaults. The suspects then ran away on foot.

The first suspect is described as a white man, in his twenties. He's about 5'10" and weighs around 150 pounds. He was wearing a bucket hat and a jacket. The second suspect is described as a white man, possibly in his teens. He's about 5'4" and weighs about 130 pounds. He was wearing a fake beard and a ski hat.

This is the second time the Plains Bell Federal Credit union has been robbed in the last four months. On October 19th of last year, two men wearing disguises, robbed the bank in a similar fashion. Those bandits were never captured and police believe they could have struck again.
