Slaton Firefighters Monitor Cotton Fire

Slaton firefighters are still on the scene of a cotton fire.

The fire has stopped burning, but firefighters fear it could flare up again. It started around 4:30pm Sunday inside a north Slaton warehouse on 8th and Railroad Avenue.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
