A Seminole man accused of killing his pregnant girlfriend will not be tried in his hometown after all. Jury selection began more than a week ago in Seminole. Attorneys questioned more than 200 potential jurors, but failed to seat a jury. A judge has since declared a mistrial and ordered a change of venue.
Daniel Flores is on trial for the murder of Erica Muro. Police say he shot her in the head on the night of January 23, 2003. Flores is already serving a life sentencing for injuring an officer that same night. The new location of the trial has yet to be determined.
