Lubbock Police chased an armed robbery suspect for nearly an hour on Saturday. In the end they caught their bandit, but it's the moments leading up to that arrest you have to see to believe.
We now have that video to show you from the in-car police camera. The suspect is driving the Honda element which police say was stolen from a clerk at the E-Z Loan money store on 50th street. At this point, authorities had been chasing the suspect along North I-27 for about 40 miles. After passing through spike strips, the bandit decides to turn off the highway but comes across train track and is nearly hits an oncoming train. The vehicle then caught fire. The suspect tried to jump on the train but surrendered when his attempts failed.
