Rosendo Rodriguez's Attorney Asking for Removal

New information in the Rosendo Rodriguez murder case.

Thursday, Rodriguez's San Antonio attorney will ask a Lubbock judge if he can be removed from the case. County sources tell NewsChannel 11, the attorney, Albert Rodriguez, told Rosendo on the phone he had to quit because he was not getting along with Rosendo's father.

Rosendo Rodriguez is accused of killing Summer Baldwin and stuffing her body in a suitcase. The hearing is Thursday afternoon in the 140th District court.

Authorities have named a suspect in the disappearance of JoAnna Rogers. Investigators are now calling Rosendo Rodriguez a primary suspect in the case. He's the same man charged with capital murder in the death of another Lubbock woman.
