Cotton Bales Ignite in South East Lubbock Warehouse - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Fire fighters are keeping watch over a cotton fire that broke Monday. It started just after 1:00 p.m. in a warehouse at 3800 block of Southeast Drive. Fifty bales caught fire inside the warehouse, but were quickly removed. Once outside, fire fighters were able to contain the blaze.

Investigators are now trying to determine a cause.
