Area firefighters came together Monday to bury one of their own.

The sound of bagpipes led mourners from Resthaven Funeral Home to the cemetery. Fellow and area firefighters led the processional to bury Spurgeon "Chuck" McCarley.

The25-year-old was killed last Thursday when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle near Itasca and MLK. McCarley was a West Carlisle volunteer firefighter for seven years.
