West Texas Man Charged With 58 Counts of Animal Cruelty - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A West Texas man is charged with animal cruelty following a gruesome discovery in New Mexico.

Authorities found 58 dogs and cats in a rented Eastern New Mexico home. More than half were dead and the rest had to be euthanized because they were in such poor condition.

42-year-old Harvey Gillaspy was arrested Monday in Enochs which is about 65 miles north west of Lubbock. He was arraigned Wednesday in Clovis.
