Texas Tech Hosts Reading Marathon - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Texas Tech students are reading non-stop. It's part of a 24-hour reading marathon. The event raises money for the Lubbock Coalition for Literacy and Lubbock public libraries.

This year's theme is centered around stories from Tech's Southwest Collection. The public is invited to listen in, just go to the basement of the English building.

The event comes to an end at 3:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
