WEB/NEWSCAST PRODUCER 

KCBD, NewsChannel 11 is looking for a creative and motivated newscast producer to join the #1 news operations on the South Plains. The winning candidate will work with staff of journalist to bring the best product to our top rated newscast show daily. College graduates or candidates with equal experience encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include: Writing, formatting, story selection, timing and executing afternoon and/or evening newscasts. Hands-on web journalist and producer who writes, compiles, and edits copy, graphics, and video for the web. Writing timely updates including breaking news, daily outbound emails, streaming video updates, and other ancillary applications. Coordinates daily web contributions from news staff. Coordinating news promotion with marketing. Any other duties as assigned by management.

DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGER 

KCBD, NewsChannel 11 is looking for a Digital Content Manager to join the #1 rated news on the South Plains. Strong news judgment, news writing and editing experience, and familiarity with AP style. Experience with and knowledge of video and photo editing. Knowledge of website and newsroom production applications. Creative background with working knowledge of Photoshop. Strong organizational skills and detail oriented. Familiarity with HTML and CSS. College degree or equivalent experience preferred. Portfolio required with emphasis on website design and multimedia presentation. Knowledge of Flash is a plus. Daily responsibilities include hands-on web journalist and produce who writes, complies, and edits copy graphics and video for the web. Oversee daily administrative, production, and content duties for kcbd.com. Responsible for page layout, timely updates including breaking news, daily outbound emails, streaming video updates, and other ancillary applications. Coordinates daily contributions from news staff. Supervisory duties include overall responsibility for web content and production. Ability to teach and work with others. Supervises workflow and schedules of KCBD we production staff (may vary depending on special even needs). Assists in strategic growth planning.

Responsible for gathering video pictures and sound for all platforms and delivering them on the air. Capable of gathering news as part of a team or on their own. Responsible for maintaining assigned gear, operating sat/ENG trucks, posting on web, editing digital video, Skype/other mobile live/sat devices and driving company vehicle. Any other duties as assigned by management, work schedule flexibility. Writing skills a plus, strong analytical and problem solving skills, competence in videography and video editing for all platforms. Competence in live streaming video and on line news presentation and on line mobile new presentation.

Must be capable of gathering news as part of a team or on their own. You will be responsible for maintaining assigned gear, operating sat/ENG trucks, posting on the web, editing digital video, Skype/other mobile live/sat devices, and driving company vehicle.

 Writing skills a plus

 Strong analytical and problem solving skills

 Competence in videography and video editing for all platforms

 Competence in live streaming video and online news presentation and online mobile news presentation.

 Any other duties as assigned by management

 Work flexible schedule

High School Diploma

Must be able to lift and carry audio/video equipment. Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
