PHOTJOURNALIST/MULTIMEDIA 

The #1 News Station in Lubbock Texas is looking for a dedicated person to join our team. This person will be responsible for gathering video pictures and sound for all platforms. Must be capable of gathering news as part of a team or on their own. You will be responsible for maintaining assigned gear, operating sat/ENG trucks, posting on the web, editing digital video, Skype/other mobile live/sat devices, and driving company vehicle.

„h Writing skills a plus

„h Strong analytical and problem solving skills

„h Competence in videography and video editing for all platforms

„h Competence in live streaming video and online news presentation and online mobile news presentation.

„h Any other duties as assigned by management

„h Work flexible schedule

 

High School Diploma

 

Must be able to lift and carry audio/video equipment. Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

 

KCBD, NewsChannel 11 is seeking a mid-level newsroom manager to join the number one news team on the South Plains. Management, Television News Producing and/or other newsroom experience is required. The candidate we seek must be a strong writer, self-motivated, and detail oriented. This person must have a strong desire to lead a reporter and producer group and identify strong enterprise story opportunities. The ideal applicant will have aspirations to advance within a strong company.

• The Executive Producer will oversee details of news gathering process, production, and presentation for four daily newscasts including producing the 10:00 news daily. Will manage and coordinate breaking news efforts and website content. The winning candidate will work closely with the News Director, anchors, and producers for their output.

• Is required to plan, coordinate and monitor television news programs to obtain a high quality on-air appearance.

• Oversee tape editing, satellite feed coordination, monitoring of news wires, scanners, microwave signals, and satellite live shots.

• Strong news writing, computer, and video skills necessary.
