Lubbock Police say a fight over cd's led to a shooting in central Lubbock Friday.

The dispute was between two groups of people. It started at South Plains Academy at 40th and Avenue R and then moved to the 1500 block of 38th Street. That's when police say 34-year-old Joe Luis Zamora fired a gun. A bullet grazed the head of 16-year-old Joe Eric Banda.

Banda is in serious but stable condition at UMC. A witness gave police Zamora's license plate number. Police found Zamora at his home in the 900 block of 41st Street and arrested him. An investigation is ongoing.
