Power Outage After SUV Hits Pole - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The driver of an SUV is in the hospital after police say he lost consciousness at the wheel, rolled once and then hit a utility pole.

The accident happened just before 5pm Sunday near 89th and Chicago. The man was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. A young girl in the car suffered minor injuries. The crash caused people in the area to lose power. Police say LP&L was called to the scene, and restored power in a few hours.
