Lubbock Police Arrest Shooting Suspect - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Lubbock police arrested David Christopher Earnest at a Central Lubbock home on Wednesday afternoon. He was originally wanted for the possession of a controlled substance. But Wednesday, he was also arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Earnest is the primary suspect into a shooting last week, near 77th and Memphis. That's where officers found 27-year-old Corey Daniel with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Three people at the home were also arrested on drug related charges.
