"We have a check list for all the employees who work here. We go through and detail all the machines and make sure everyone knows how to keep it clean. We just work really hard," King Said.

We find our next top performer in East Lubbock at 107 Beech Avenue. Two-time Top Performer MLK Burger did it again. Whether you drive-through or dine out-doors, they grill up big old fashioned hamburgers, and much more, in a clean and healthy environment. Their perfect score gives them a third Top Performing Certificate.

This sassy salsa place tempts the taste buds of Texas Tech students everyday at lunchtime. Sazon Fajitas and Salsas at 1205 University is heating up the Top Performer's List for the 4th time with zero critical violations.

Our final stop on the top performing list blows us into West Lubbock. The Tumbleweed Cafe at 6628 West 66th Street is located inside the American Legion Building. While hunting for bingo numbers, you can enjoy anything from hamburgers and hot dogs to quesadillas and tacos.
