Fourth Lubbock Sandwich Shop Robbed

Lubbock Police are looking for either a sandwich shop bandit or several sandwich shop bandits.

Just before 9pm Friday night, a man walked into the Schlotzsky's at 8101 Indiana. He told the employees he had a gun and passed them a note demanding money. The employees refused to give him any and the man gave up and left.

It was a similar scene Thursday night at the Quiznos at 7301 University, but in that case the man was able to get away with some cash.

Last week, two Subway sandwich shops were robbed, the one at 2515 82nd and another at 50th and University.

Police are not saying if the believe these robberies are related but if you have any information, call Crime Line at 741-1000.
