Scott Morris is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and Texas Tech School of Law. He has been licensed to practice law for more than 12 years and has spent more than half of his career representing the State of Texas as a Criminal Prosecutor.
As an attorney in private practice, Scott has represented individuals as well as companies. Scott has represented criminal defendants, established business organizations, performed estate planning, contract negotiations and represented clients in real estate transactions. Scott has also participated in all aspects of Child Protective Service cases providing counsel to parents as well as ensuring the rights and protection of children. As a criminal prosecutor representing the State of Texas, Scott has prosecuted thousands of criminal cases. Scott has prosecuted everything from traffic tickets to first-degree felonies. Scott has prosecuted juvenile cases as well as adult cases and is experienced in all aspects of our court system.
Scott knows the importance of speeding up the justice system, decreasing costs and respecting jurors’ time. His training and experience have uniquely equipped him to provide fair, impartial and meaningful disposition of the cases in Lubbock County Court at Law No. 2.
