Jury Selection Begins in Montelongo Trial - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The man accused of killing his ex-wife in the parking lot of a north Lubbock Cingular Call Center is now going to trial.

Jury selection began Monday in the trial of Raymon Montelongo. He's charged with the murder of 20-year-old Erika Perez, who died March 4th of 2005 from two gunshot wounds to the chest.

Perez and Montelongo shared a son. He was 3 years old at the time of Perez' death.
