Richard Quade Files For City Council Seat - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Texas Tech professor is joining the race for Lubbock City Council. Richard Quade would like to represent District Three.

He's lived in the Tech Terrace neighborhood for more than 40 years. If elected, Quade says he would also like to work on water resources, taxes, public safety and economic expansion.

Incumbent Gary Boren has not filed for re-election but, he tells NewsChannel 11 he would like to stay in office to continue the work he's started.
