Johnston Announces Candidacy For School Board - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Another candidate has joined the race for Lubbock ISD school board. Danny Johnston announced his candidacy for school board trustee representing District 3.

Johnston has worked with the LISD bond committee and has served on the board of Covenant Health Systems. He has also been a small business owner in Lubbock for 24 years.

Right now, he's running against Chris Comer. Incumbent Karin Slay, is not seeking re-election.
