Lubbock Airport Receives Grant - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The next time you fly out of Lubbock, you may notice some changes. The U.S. Department of Transportation is giving the City of Lubbock a grant for more than $371,000. The money will be used for improvements at the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport.

Senator John Cornyn told city and chamber leaders about the grant in Washington D.C. Wednesday. It's part of an annual trip to discuss Lubbock's priorities and key legislation. The group also met with Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison.
