Lubbock Fire Department Graduates Recruits - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Twelve recruits graduated from the Lubbock Fire Training Academy on Friday. The new firefighters will begin working shifts as early as Saturday morning.

Lubbock Fire Chief Steve Hailey says with the additional staff, the department can assign four fire fighters to every truck. He says will make a difference in response time.
