Judge Rules Against Injunction In Cemetery Lawsuit - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A judge will not order the city to stop burials in the Lubbock City Cemetery.

Lawyer Steve Claus is representing 62 families who claim the city has botched burial records. Many say the graves of their loved ones are missing. They asked a judge to grant an injunction which would prevent the city from selling any more plots until the bodies could be found.

Friday, the judge ruled against that injunction. The case is ongoing.
