Two People Hospitalized After Weekend Stabbing

Two people were taken to the hospital after a stabbing in North Lubbock Saturday. Police say a 32-year-old man was taking three children to a house in the 4600 block of Itasca just before 10am. When he dropped off the kids for a custody exchange a 27-year-old man at the house stabbed him several times. The victim then struck the suspect with brass knuckles and fled the scene, going back to his residence. Both the victim and suspect were taken to Lubbock hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The names and conditions have not yet been released.
