Wolfforth Joins The Fight Against Colon Cancer

Wolfforth is jumping into the effort to wipe out colon cancer.

At city hall Monday morning, the Wolfforth mayor and city council proclaimed 2006 a year of colon cancer prevention and detection...just as Lubbock city and county officials did last month.

This is all part of a master plan from the American Cancer Society and the colon cancer prevention task force to eliminate colon cancer in our community since 90% of the cases can be prevented.
