MS Drug is Put Back on the Market

Every week, about 200 people are diagnosed with MS, a disease which causes progressive disability. Today an FDA advisory panel said it's time to put the drug Tysabri back on the market with some sort of patient registry to keep track of any side effects. The drug was taken off the market last year after three patients developed a spine infection. But after further study, the FDA says too many people are responding so well to the drug that Tysabri should be available to MS patients who want to try it.
