Purse Snatcher Sent to Prison - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A purse snatching will send a man to prison for 30 years. Johnny McKenzie pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery Thursday. He threw Marie Ann Puryear to the ground and took her purse outside the 50-Yard Line restaurant in September 2005. She's the wife of local state district judge Cecil Puryear.

Marie had to have emergency hip surgery after the incident.
