Body Found Inside Burning Home - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The Lubbock County Sheriff's Department has discovered a body inside a burning home near Buffalo Springs Lake. The fire started just after 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

It took fire fighters from Roosevelt, Buffalo Springs Lake and Slaton more than two hours to put the fire out. Just before 6:30 p.m., investigators found a body in one of the bedrooms. The identity of the body has not been released and the cause of death is still not known. An autopsy will be conducted Friday morning.

NewsChannel 11 has learned that a car parked outside the house belongs to the family's nineteen year old son Travis Robertson who is still missing at this time.
