Sports Drinks Proven To Cause Tooth Decay

Many who are turning to sports drinks as a "healthier" option to sodas may not like to hear this.

Researchers from the University of Iowa measured the effect of various sugared beverages on tooth enamel. They found Gatorade caused the most enamel erosion, followed by Red Bull and Coke, with Diet Coke and apple juice causing the least amount of damage to tooth enamel.

The American Beverage Association argues lots of things cause dental erosion and you can't blame just one drink.
