Guests Return to Lubbock Hotel - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Guests are now back in their rooms after an overnight evacuation at Extended Stay America of Lubbock. The hotel was forced to evacuate 45 guests after a sprinkler activated on the third floor just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

A guest was apparently throwing something at the sprinkler. Parts of the third floor flooded and created hazardous conditions.

Guests were allowed to return around noon Thursday.
