Seven People Injured After Late Night Accident - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

DPS says drugs, alcohol, and Saturday night's dense fog all played a major role in a late night accident in East Lubbock that sent seven people to the hospital.

Troopers say a 26-year-old John Cuezas Jr. was heading West on a portion of 98th Street that is closed due to construction. He slammed into a Caterpillar parked on 98th near MLK just after 12:30am. The driver and his six female passengers were all taken to University Medical Center. All with serious injuries.

• 33-year-old Tricia Luna - Critical Condition
• 6-year-old Leandra Luna - Satisfactory Condition
• 3-year-old Zenphonie Brooks - Satisfactory Condition
• 29-year-old Cynthia Davila - Treated and Released
• 12-year-old Arien Sansing - Satisfactory Condition

DPS says multiple felony charges are pending.
