The jaws of life were called to a 70 mile per hour collision between a Yukon and a pickup in South Lubbock County Thursday.
It happened shortly before 2 p.m. where the Tahoka Highway intersects with Woodrow Road. According to DPS, the black Yukon was headed north, when the pickup failed to yield the right of way and pulled out from Woodrow.
The Yukon crashed into the truck's passenger side seriously injuring its driver. His name and condition are unavailable at this time. The female driver of the Yukon was not hurt.
